What does a Cabchen bathroom renovation involve? First we visit to measure and check waterproofing, plumbing points and ventilation. Then we plan the layout, show it to you in 3D, make the vanity and storage to measure, supply sanitaryware and fittings, and coordinate the renovation work with one team around Kota Kinabalu and Sabah.

What’s hiding behind your tiles?

A bathroom can look fine and still have problems behind the tiles. That’s why we check these five things at the site visit, before any design is final.

    Waterproofing

    We look for leaks, damp and tired seals, and tell you plainly what needs fixing before any new finishes go on.

  2. 02

    Plumbing points

    We note where your water supply and drainage points are, and whether the layout you want means moving them.

  3. 03

    Ventilation

    Windows, exhaust fans and airflow decide how fast the room dries after every shower. It matters more than most people think.

  4. 04

    Storage

    We measure for a vanity, mirror cabinet or niche, so your daily things have a home away from the splashes.

  5. 05

    Lighting

    We check your light and power points, then plan clear light at the mirror and softer light for the evening.

Cost depends on the size, what we find behind the tiles and the fittings you choose. Here’s where a bathroom starts.

Starting prices are a guide for a basic specification (September 2026), not a quotation. The consultation and site visit are free, and your written quotation after the visit is the price you pay.

Do you renovate bathrooms?
Yes. Bathroom renovation is one of our core services, including vanities, mirrors, fittings and the renovation work around them. Waterproofing and plumbing details are checked during the site visit.
Which vanity materials suit a humid bathroom?
Your bathroom takes direct splashes and steam every day, so board, edge treatment, finish and hardware matter more here than anywhere else in your home. We recommend vanity options based on your ventilation and how the room is used, then confirm them in your quotation.
Can you renovate a bathroom in a condominium?
Yes. Condos often have renovation rules, such as working hours and access. We check the rules and access at the site visit and plan the work around them, so you're not stuck in the middle.
Where can I see sanitaryware and fittings?
Come to our Penampang showroom. The bathroom section has sanitaryware, vanities, mirrors and fittings on display. Please WhatsApp us before visiting to confirm opening hours.
How much does a kitchen or cabinet renovation cost?
Kitchen cabinets start from RM200 per foot run for a bottom cabinet in melamine, with quartz worktops from RM180 per foot run. Wardrobes start from RM400 per foot run and bathrooms from RM10,000. Your real number depends on size, layout, board and door finish, worktop and appliances, so we measure for free and give you a written quotation before you commit.
Can I get a price from the website?
You can get a starting point. Our starting prices are on the Services page, and the planner lets you share your budget range so we come prepared. The exact price needs your measurements and material choices, so it comes in your written quotation after the free site visit.
Do you design in 3D before building?
Yes. Design and consultancy includes 2D layout planning and 3D visualisation, so you can see the space, change your mind and fine-tune it before production starts.
Can you help before my renovation starts, or before I get my keys?
Yes, and early is the best time to talk to us. Share your floor plan and timing in the planner and we will tell you what can be prepared before vacant possession and what needs a site measurement.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. The consultation and the site visit to measure are free, with no obligation. You get your layout, 3D visuals and a written quotation to think over in your own time.
How long does a renovation take?
It depends on the scope, the materials and how ready the site is, and we would rather not guess. Once the design and materials are confirmed, you get a schedule with your quotation.
